The ROJECO N30 Pet Nail Grinder takes the worry out of nail care. Instead of clipping, it files nails smoothly with a diamond bit wheel, and two LED lights show you exactly where you are working. It is quiet enough for nervous pets and works for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and other small animals.

Six functions at a glance
The manufacturer's function chart lists 2 LED lights, a diamond bit grinder, USB charging, a 2-speed switch, 50dB ultra-quiet running and a superior motor.

Why grind instead of clip?
The manufacturer's picture shows three common problems with long or badly trimmed nails: scratches to family members, clawed furniture and nails cut so short that they bleed. Grinding removes a little nail at a time, which makes it easier to stop before the quick. Our guides explain how to trim pet nails at home and compare electric nail grinders and clippers.

Three ports for all kinds of pets
Choose the port and power that suit your pet's size and nail hardness. The manufacturer's picture lists dogs, cats, rabbits and birds, with ports for small, medium and large pets.

Upgraded motor and two speeds
The upgraded motor has a high-quality brass shaft, which the manufacturer says gives high power, low noise and a long service life. Low speed runs at 7000 RPM and high speed at 8000 RPM.

Diamond bit grinder
The grinder uses an advanced diamond bit that is strong and wear-resistant. Replacement parts are available, including grinder heads for the N30.

Controls and parts
The labelled diagram shows the diamond bit grinder at the top, then the light switch, high-speed and low-speed positions, the on/off control, a battery indicator and the micro USB port at the base.

Ultra-quiet running
The low-speed setting runs at 40dB or lower and the high-speed setting at 50dB or lower, which the manufacturer says will not frighten your pet and makes nails easier to finish. For comparison, the picture marks rainfall at 50dB, conversation at 55dB and a car at 70dB.

USB quick charge
The grinder kit includes a USB cable. You can charge it from a phone adapter, power bank, laptop or car adapter. Charging takes about 3 hours and gives about 3 hours of use.

Certifications
The manufacturer states that the ROJECO nail grinder series has CE, FCC and RoHS certifications, and the picture shows the certificates.

How to use it
- Introduce the grinder: switch it on away from the nails and let your pet get used to the sound and smell.
- Choose the grinding port that suits your pet's size, then pick a speed. Start low for nervous pets.
- Use the LED lights to find the tip of the nail, touch the nail gently and hold the grinder at about 45 degrees.
- Grind in short bursts and avoid the pink area (the quick).
- Reward your pet with a favourite snack after every success.
- Remove the wheel cover and wipe the wheel gently with a damp paper or cloth to clear the nail powder.
- Recharge by USB when the battery is low.

Care notes
- If you do not use it for a long time, charge it at least once every three months.
- Do not wash it with water or keep it somewhere damp.
- Do not clean the surface with alcohol, petrol or other corrosive liquids.
